Prerequisites

Before integrating with CellPay UPG, the merchant must complete the required onboarding steps to access the platform and configure the integration settings.

1. First Login Credentials​

For the first login, CellPay will provide the credentials that include:

  • Username
  • A 6-digit PIN as the initial password

After the first successful login, the user is required to reset the password and set a new secure password.

2. QR Validation and Two-Factor Authentication​

After the setup process, the user must:

  • Scan the QR code using google authenticator which gives a 6 digit code.
  • Fill the code as requested and login to your merchant dashboard.

This step adds an additional layer of security before the merchant can proceed with the integration setup.

3. Obtain the Merchant ID​

Once the account is successfully set up, the user should navigate to the My Profile section and note down the merchant ID provided by CellPay.

This merchant ID is required for generating signatures and initiating the checkout flow.

4. Configure the Callback URL​

The user should then go to the Settings section and set up the callback URL.

This URL is set up to receive payment notifications in real-time

The onboarding process must be completed before making checkout or transaction API calls. The merchant ID and callback URL are essential integration details required for successful payment processing.
